Modern technology is ever present at Greer Lime as recent capital improvements have positioned the company for the future. Greer Lime Company produces pebble lime, hydrated lime, limestone aggregates, ag lime, rock dust and limestone sand. The company located near Riverton, West Virginia has high calcium limestone reserves averaging 98.0% calcium carbonate.  A new crushing and screening plant installed in 1994 conveys limestone
to the limestone and lime sections of the facility. A fine grinding plant,
producing pulverized limestone, rock dust, ag lime and limestone sand, supplies the filler, coal, agriculture and glass industries as well as others. We offer the convenience of several payment options to our customers: CERTIFICATIONS/AWARDS ROTARY KILN FACILITIES  Two rotary kilns added in 1990 and 1995 are operated and controlled by state-of-the-art computer technology. Computer generated statistics are monitored by plant management to ensure lime quality will meet customer specifications. LABORATORY FACILITIES  On-site laboratory equipment featuring an Oxford Model 3000 Energy Dispersive X-Ray Flourescence Analyzer provides accurate and timely sampling results for customers. The company maintains an auditable quality program. |
